I sent out a survey last week to gather more information about your needs, specifically with journaling but also just in your life. Thank you for letting me ask you a bunch of questions about you and thanks so much to those of you who sent in your responses! I SO SO appreciate it! It was SO great to learn more specifics about what you are going through, so then I can think about how I can help.
And if you are still interested in filling it out, it's not too late! Click here to go to the survey! I think the questions are pretty interesting, if I do say so myself. :-)

From the survey, the top 3 things women said was:
1. I am pretty stressed these days. (3-4 out of 5)
2. It's my job/career that's stressing me out.
It's my finances stressing me out. (25% each).
3. I would like creative journaling exercises or a journaling challenge to get me to write more often. (more than half).
And from these key points, I've created "The 6-Day Journaling Challenge" --- still in 10 minutes a day!
Because I heard from many, many, many of you that you feel resistance or reluctance to journaling for various reasons that you can tell or not, PLUS everyone's life is busy! I SO get it! We have family obligations (extended family, too), job/career, partner/relationship/ or dating, girlfriends, pets... Oh my gosh, it's a miracle you're even here with me now, taking the time to read this post! Or listen if I ever manage to record this!
So, I am packing it all in, like a vegan, energy, bite-sized bar. It is simple, accessible, and bite-sized chunks that you only need to do a quick check-in every day. But because it is everyday, it will help keep you grounded and refocusing on you consistently. Sound good? Let's do this!
The 6-Day Journaling Challenge:
You can use a journal that you're currently in the middle of. Or if you want to start a brand new journal because you have 10 lying around, go for it! I want you to feel excited to start afresh. Tomorrow is a new day.
For this 6 day journaling challenge, I've added an extra special nugget just for you. Along with the 10 minute daily journaling component, there is a daily action. For example, do something just for you today. Very simple, doable actions. And then you will journal about it afterwards. Ideally at the end of the day, but morning works too.
I have included the questions for those of you who want or need a specific journaling prompt. Some of them are self-explanatory with the action for the day. Feel free to use them as a guide or not! Write what feels natural and organic to you, or whatever you feel compelled to put down on paper. I am so excited for you!
And... if you miss one day--- no worries! Just skip to the next day's action prompt the next morning. Shall we dive in??
Day 1:
What's 1 small thing you will do for you today?
*JOURNAL for 10 Minutes ~
How was it? Was it easy, hard? I hope you are pleased with yourself no matter what!
Day 2:
What is one small way you can mentally put
a boundary between you
and what is stressing you out today?
*JOURNAL for 10 Minutes~
How did that feel for you? Did you feel less stressed? No change? Any ideas for future experiment?
Day 3:
Choose a word of the day that you feel will make your day go better because of it.
*Journal for 10 Minutes ~
How did that feel for you? Did it help you throughout the day to hold onto your word?
Day 4:
No action. I want you to find a moment to slow down and rest today.
*Journal for 10 Minutes~
How did it feel to slow down in the middle of your day? Was it easy, hard?
Day 5:
Set a timer for 3 minutes.
Scream into a pillow if you have neighbors and/or beat your fists onto a pillow on your bed. Both is great!
*Journal for 10 Minutes ~
How was that for you? How did it feel to raise your voice and be loud? Hit something? Get your anger and frustration out?
Day 6:
Go on a fun outing just for you.
Whether it's in nature, or getting your hair or nails done or a massage, or kayaking, what is something that gets you excited and jumping out the door today?
* Journal for 10 minutes ~
How did it feel? How did you feel after? Did the world look any different during or after your outing? Did your troubles seem any different afterwards?
Congratulations! You did it !!
