Healing Journaling Prompts
for our Black sisters and us Allies:
Racism is systemic and institutionalized in this country and in the world. But it also infiltrates us on an individual basis. And so while we do the work out in the world, simultaneously and just as importantly, we must do the work inside ourselves.
While it is not our fault that we have soaked up the racism around us, it is our absolute responsibility now to dig up our racism and throw it out. Therefore we must ask hard questions and look within, as allies to our African heritage sisters and brothers.
As African heritage and black folk, there is inner work to be done to heal from the effects of racism, that only you can do. It is not easy, but it will be worth it.
